Selected Quranic verses

﴿ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ﴾

For the Day of Judgement.

﴿ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِ... ﴾

But if Allāh had willed, they would not have assoc...

﴿ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ سَاهُونَ ﴾

those who are steeped in ignorance heedlessly.

﴿ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ خَلَٰٓئِفَ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱل... ﴾

And they denied him, so We saved him and those wit...

﴿ عٓسٓقٓ ﴾

‘Ayyn Sīn Qāf[1].

﴿ فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ ﴾

And increased therein the corruption.

﴿ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰٓ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُواْ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ بِٱلطَّيِّبِۖ وَلَا تَأۡكُلُ... ﴾

2. And give unto orphans their property and do not...

﴿ قَالَ عِفۡرِيتٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَۖ وَإِنِّي عَل... ﴾

39. A ‘Ifrît (strong one) from the jinn said: "I w...

﴿ إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ ﴾

85. When he said to his father and to his people:...

﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ ﴾

And when the seas are filled with flame[1866]

﴿ أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ ﴾

Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allāh you des...

﴿ فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا ﴾

30. So taste you (the results of your evil actions...
