Selected Quranic verses

﴿ وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ ﴾

Those who came before them rejected [the messenger...

﴿ كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ ﴾

Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separa...

﴿ هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي ظُلَلٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡغَمَامِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُض... ﴾

Are they waiting that Allah should come to them in...

﴿ ۞ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُۥ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي ٱلۡقُ... ﴾

And know that anything you obtain of war booty - t...

﴿ وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ﴾

and by the night when it covers with darkness[1],

﴿ يَأۡتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٖ ﴾

Who will bring you every learned, skilled magician...

﴿ ثُمَّ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ سَبۡعٞ شِدَادٞ يَأۡكُلۡنَ مَا قَدَّمۡتُمۡ لَهُنَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا... ﴾

Then will come after that seven difficult [years]...

﴿ شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ قَآئِمَۢا... ﴾

Allāh witnesses that there is no deity except Him,...

﴿ فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴾

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny...

﴿ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتُ يُبَايِعۡنَكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن لَّا يُشۡرِكۡنَ بِٱل... ﴾

O Prophet, when the believing women come to you, p...

﴿ ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾

39. A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will...

﴿ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰل... ﴾

Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - inde...
