﴿ يَٰيَحۡيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٖۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمَ صَبِيّٗا ﴾

[Allah said], “O John, hold the Scripture with all...

﴿ مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ ﴾

The [Prophet’s] heart[6] did not deny what he saw.

﴿ إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ ﴾

except an old woman who was among those who remain...

﴿ وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَ... ﴾

When Our clear verses are recited to them, those w...

﴿ وَلَا ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَلَا ٱلنُّورُ ﴾

Nor are the darknesses and the light,

﴿ وَلِلَّهِۤ يَسۡجُدُۤ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ طَوۡعٗا وَكَرۡهٗا وَظِلَٰلُهُم بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ و... ﴾

15. And unto Allâh (Alone) falls in prostration wh...

﴿ أَمۡوَٰتٌ غَيۡرُ أَحۡيَآءٖۖ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبۡعَثُونَ ﴾

21. (They are) dead, not alive; and they know not...

﴿ فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا ﴾

So taste [the punishment], for We will not increas...

﴿ أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ ﴾

Did We not expand for you, [O Muḥammad], your brea...

﴿ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُۖ وَهُوَ... ﴾

All that is in the heavens and all that is in the...

﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ ﴾

and when the souls are sorted[2],

﴿ أَمَّا ٱلسَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتۡ لِمَسَٰكِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَ... ﴾
