Selected Quranic verses

﴿ مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٖ ﴾

Marked from your Lord. And it [i.e., Allāh's punis...

﴿ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ ﴾

those who humble themselves in their prayers,

﴿ نَاصِيَةٖ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٖ ﴾

A lying, sinning forelock.

﴿ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ ﴾

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation...

﴿ قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمَا ٱدۡخُلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡبَاب... ﴾

Two men who feared Allah, and who had been favored...

﴿ إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ ﴾

It will only be a single Blast, and at once they w...

﴿ فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ﴾

﴿ ثُمَّ نَظَرَ ﴾

﴿ وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩ ﴾
