Selected Quranic verses

﴿ ۞ وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ ﴾

And with them will be women limiting [their] glanc...

﴿ أَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا ﴾

26. For the living and the dead?

﴿ وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٖ ﴾

And indeed, you are of a great moral character.

﴿ وَرَٰوَدَتۡهُ ٱلَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيۡتِهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبَ وَقَالَتۡ هَيۡتَ لَ... ﴾

﴿ بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيّٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾

195. In the plain Arabic language.

﴿ فَرَوۡحٞ وَرَيۡحَانٞ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٖ ﴾

﴿ قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾

﴿ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا ﴾

and by the day as it displays it[2],

﴿ لَّا يَأۡتِيهِ ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَلَا مِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦۖ تَنزِيلٞ مِّنۡ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٖ ﴾

Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or fro...

﴿ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ﴾

33. Then he walked in conceit (full pride) to his...

﴿ يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ ﴾

41. The Mujrimûn (polytheists, criminals, sinners)...

﴿ يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَلَا يَشۡفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّ... ﴾

He knows what is ahead of them and what is behind...
