Selected Quranic verses

﴿ لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى ﴾

15. None shall enter it save the most wretched.

﴿ ۞ وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُ... ﴾

65. And to ‘Âd (people, We sent) their brother Hûd...

﴿ قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ ﴾

Say [O Prophet], “I am only a warner, and none has...

﴿ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ ﴾

and by the day when it appears,

﴿ فَتَنَادَوۡاْ مُصۡبِحِينَ ﴾

21. Then they called out one to another as soon as...

﴿ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضۡلٗا كَبِيرٗا ﴾

47. And announce to the believers (in the Oneness...

﴿ وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأۡتِينَا فَرۡدٗا ﴾

We will inherit what he boasts of[23], and he will...

﴿ عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا ﴾

6. To cut off all excuses or to warn.

﴿ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ غُثَآءٗۚ فَبُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾

﴿ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٖ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ شُعُوبٗا وَقَبَآئِل... ﴾

13. O mankind! We have created you from a male and...

﴿ قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَصۡبَحَ مَآؤُكُمۡ غَوۡرٗا فَمَن يَأۡتِيكُم بِمَآءٖ مَّعِينِۭ ﴾

Say, “What do you think, if your water were to sin...

﴿ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُو ٱلدَّارَ وَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ يُحِبُّونَ مَنۡ هَاجَرَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَ... ﴾
