Selected Quranic verses

﴿ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ أَقَامُواْ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ لَأ... ﴾

66. And if only they had acted according to the Ta...

﴿ وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖ ﴾

We carried him on an [Ark made] of planks and nail...

﴿ وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩ ﴾

and when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do no...

﴿ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥۖ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلۡأَصۡوَاتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَلَا تَس... ﴾

On that day, they will follow the summoner[36]; no...

﴿ قُلۡ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ فِي ضَلَٰل... ﴾

Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in...

﴿ وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ ﴾

and made his offspring[19] the only survivors,

﴿ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ ﴾

So if you have any scheme, then plot it against Me...

﴿ أَمۡ تَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ يَسۡمَعُونَ أَوۡ يَعۡقِلُونَۚ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ... ﴾

Do you think that most of them hear or understand?...

﴿ قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ هَلۡ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمۡتَ رُشۡدٗا ﴾

Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condi...

﴿ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ ﴾

5. The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses...

﴿ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن... ﴾

You cannot escape [His punishment] on earth or in...

﴿ وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ ﴾
