Selected Quranic verses

﴿ ۞ وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغۡيٗا وَعَد... ﴾

We led the Children of Israel across the sea, then...

﴿ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴾

9. And verily your Lord, He is truly the All-Might...

﴿ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ ﴾

and the mighty and powerful[4] Pharaoh?

﴿ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ ﴾

“This is because of what your hands have sent fort...

﴿ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ ﴾

95. Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with c...

﴿ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۗ وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَر... ﴾

It is Allah Who has sent down the Book with the tr...

﴿ وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ ﴾

Those who came before them rejected [the messenger...

﴿ وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لِي خَطِيٓـَٔتِي يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ ﴾

And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on...

﴿ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا ﴾

and sent down from the rainclouds abundant water,

﴿ هُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُمۡ فِي ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ ﴾

They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on ad...

﴿ وَفَٰكِهَةٖ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ ﴾

along with fruits of their choice,

﴿ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيۡفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنٗا ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا... ﴾

Do you not see how your Lord extends the shade? If...
