Selected Quranic verses

﴿ فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗا ﴾

11. He will invoke (for his) destruction,

﴿ قُل لَّوۡ أَنَّ عِندِي مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦ لَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ... ﴾

Say, “If that which you seek to hasten were within...

﴿ أُبَلِّغُكُمۡ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّي وَأَنَا۠ لَكُمۡ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ ﴾

I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am...

﴿ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَخۡفَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ شَيۡءٞ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ ﴾

Indeed, from Allāh nothing is hidden in the earth...

﴿ وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَٰنِكُمۡۚ إِن... ﴾

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens an...

﴿ إِنَّمَا قَوۡلُنَا لِشَيۡءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدۡنَٰهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ﴾

40. Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend i...

﴿ أَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ أَن تَدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأۡتِكُم مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلِك... ﴾

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while...

﴿ لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٞ مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ يَحۡفَظُونَهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ... ﴾

11. For him (each person), there are angels in suc...

﴿ فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا ﴾

then inspired it [to know] its wickedness and righ...

﴿ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ ﴾

Indeed in that is a lesson [i.e., warning] for who...

﴿ وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ ﴾

56. And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind...

﴿ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ﴾

then he went to his people, elated with pride,
